Kewpies were the original creation by Rose O'Neill in the early 1900's in her cartoon characters. With the help of German porcelain artists, she brought to life her whimsical characters and all sort of forms and figures.
It is said to put a Kewpie where you will see it first thing every morning and it will make you smile and bring you good luck. How could you look at Kewpie Hoho and not smile and feel good all day long.
Kewpies even had pets and let me introduce you to "Doodle Dog" who romped through the comics every week with the Kewpies on their great adventures.
